toe forest

In my normal never- finish, leave-it-to-the-last-minute fashion I rushed to submit one entry for this project. Yeah I made it into the book, but so did everyone who submitted at least one thing....
Anyway it is making me laugh today. I should cut that toenail!
I should also learn.

but you don't have absorbent paws

Once a year I get a new boyfriend. He changes from "curls get girls" to skinhead.
I love them both, and don't have a favourite.
Unfortunately they both like to stand at the fridge constantly pigging out. (Look, the plush eggs are scared, this one looks tough).
Whilst waiting for our coffee this morning I cam across some pics of Louise Weavers current exhibition in the paper. So vibrant and textural and amazing. Click our her past exhibits too. I would like this piece in my house.
Happy weekend.

carwash and funny songs

What a treat, the car wash.
Now a treat for you, a couple of songs that make me laugh. I hope everyone is having a good weekend, but in case you need these to make you smile.

where did thursday go?

On Friday afternoon I ♥ links:
- I am a kid in a candy store at the Knitting Pattern Central animal page as pointed out by Chelsey.
- The election of Obama has inspired Melody to listen to the speeches and dreams of Martin Luther King Jr .
- If I was going to step over to the crochet way of things I think I would start with Creepy Cute Crochet. Via Sweetmeat. (I once started crocheting an elephant. All I have to show for it is a trunk that looks like a crochet penis).
- Mel has been drawing inspiration from these stories from cancer survivors. I haven't read them all yet, but there is a common thread in appreciating and living life.
