I have a new-found local friend who knits. Knitting afternoons with teapots of tea are a-go.
Previously I only had one "knitting friend" and now she lives hours away, hence the joy in coming across a proximal kindred knitter.

You have friends who knit? Lucky you! My only friend who knits is two states away. If only someone would sit and knit with me and tell me what I am doing wrong... :)
I guess I will have to stick to the crochet for now.

cool ... I wish I had a friend that liked to knit ... my friends mostly think I'm a bit odd with all my craft and mess

there's a group by my house, but they don't really "get it".... they're old and mean.
