this is my creation(s)

This is my latest creation. G's library bag. I ditched the back print and left it plain, after printing I only added her felt stripes before sewing together.

Whilst sorting out old boxes today I came across some of my 'creations' from when I was six. Perhaps the odd little creature could become a softie one day. I used to love writing stories but I am glad my spelling improved, and what were teachers thinking giving me workbooks without lines? Thank you to Betty the Geek for the current 'this is'.

Love the library bag - especially the felt embellishment. Lucky you for keeping some of your school work - it is nice to look back on. Lisa

The felt is just perfect for a simple design - simple in the best sense of the word.

No lines?? hmmm, well you learned to make life without having to stay on the lines or within the box, right!?!? ;-) Perhaps that was some of the early seeding of creativity.

Oh I found my school book from when I was six/seven. The spelling, oh it scared me a lot. But the stories were funny.

Thanks for popping by and commenting on my blog!!!!
The bag looks great. What a lovely surprise to stumble across your old writing books. I think that a softie to resemble the one in the drawing is a definite "must do" craft project for you for the not to distant future... :)
You've made me curious... Where abouts in the central west are you living at the moment?? I'm out near Cobar... Are you close by??
