You'd expect a lot of browns, but there were a lot of blues.

Hi. I just found your blog through a couple of others I read. I love that picture of the peacock. Those things are all over the place out where my boyfriend lives in Jimboomba but I never have my camera handy when we see them.

We have those peacocks walking around my uni campus everywhere - they were a "gift" to the university :)

I also have fond memories of going yabbying in irrigation channels as a child. I don't remember whether we caught many, but it was fun sitting out in the sunshine with a our strings in the water and nets at the ready....
