this is my pet

The top is Opal, my favourite dog, whom my family got when I was a teenager. She was a kelpie x border collie, adorable, totally spoiled and was obsessed with playing ball. I have to mention La-La too, (although I couldn't find the photos), a black kelpie, the first pet I really remember. The next cuties are Banff and Jasper, who are technically my parents cats, but I still consider mine. I harass them endlessly when I visit.

I currently don't have any pets, (unless you count our worms). When we one day settle down the first pets we will get are two of these.

More this is here.

heeee. all. so. cute....

We had pet worms in a worm farm too. I was tempted to name them all, but couldn't possibly think of that many good names. We gave our worm-farm to some friends before we moved away. I hope they're doing well.

Those little rex cats are really different.

I'm not a great dog person, but Opal looks like she was a pip of a dog.

(btw, thanks for commenting on my new look...I had forgotten how much I liked your blog. Good reminder!)

I had pet worms too! I found them in our pot plants and collected them and put them in a seperate pot (apparently it's not good to have worms in pot plants?) with some soil and fed them scraps. I even had a name tag on their pot..it said ANNELIDS lol.

Ooh, what are you going to name the Rex's?

I met a rex a few years ago and fell in love. I am still yet to convince my man, he grew up with burmese cats and we have an ongoing dialogue about which are better. Still have a few years to fight it out.

Serena- Not sure what I would call them... when I was a tea fiend we thought Lapsang and Assam would be good names. Though would we call it Ass for short?

Girls, if I could cuddle the worms without killing them I would probably name them.

Thanks for all the comments.

Your parents cats are just gorgeous, very curious kitties by the look of it. Opal is a cutey also.

Not sure about the rex. Probably the only cats I'm not too keen on

Actually, Lady Grey is a good name (but not such a nice tasting tea)....
